There was a bit of an error made in the construction of Wayside School. Instead of making thirty classrooms side by side, it was built one classroom on top of another, thirty stories high…except for the 19th floor which seems to have been forgotten. Join students Myron, Bebe, Leslie, Rondi and Dameon for a series of strange encounters and skewed adventures. You’ll enjoy such oddities as Mrs. Gorf – the meanest teacher in the history of Wayside School, Ms. Jewls' magic blackboard, talking pigtails, figures appearing in mashed potatoes, dead rats, and the ethereal Miss Zarves who may or may not reside on the mysterious missing 19th floor. Join Suzanne and Penny at Dash Point State Park's beach. We'll pack some lunch, set up a spot to the right of the stream on the sand and play in the sand and water. I'll have my red Trader Joe's bag with a big towel set up. Set up camp by us and come find me in my blue hat and blue tank top. There are public restrooms (YESSSSS!), lots of sand and lots of water. There is sometimes a lot of slimy seaweed on the beach too, depending on what the tide has been doing. (The tide should be out while we're there, just checked the tide charts). Bring a blanket, lunch, drinks, SUNSCREEN, a hat, swim-wear for the kids (and yourself if you're brave enough!), a bucket and shovel, a friend even! and anything else you can think of for a few hours at the beach. We (Kayla and Nana) are wanting to me other babies and toddlers at the park for playdates. The mornings work best for us but we just really want to be around other kids and interact. Let us know if you would be interested.
